I am grateful for…

2010 has not been a very good year for me. I’ve had lots of lending and spending done which started on 2009. It was the time that I accepted and admitted to myself that I am really in deep financial trouble after a year of denying the fact to myself and to everyone around me (though I know they knew that too). I had to think and think and think a lot and PRAY. How would I get out of this? So to begin with my I know this would take long paying journey, I finally decided to cut one of my credit cards. The one that I think accumulates higher interest than the other. Little by little I have to pay for the huge remaining balance but after that I’ll be debt free for this one. Small steps. I am thankful I finally learned my lesson there and I know there’s a lot to learn as I go along with the process but it’s a start. This is one thing that I am grateful and LOUD for, that God gave me the strength to share this to the public, and for that I am also hoping for your patience on me as I go through all of this one by one.

There are others things that I am grateful for. Late last year, I won in raffle prizes from different online and magazine contests. Loot bags, gift certificates, a pink bag from thebaghag, and a few more, though small things, still made me happy with the thought that I WON! For those who do not know me, not until last year, I am not that fortunate when it comes to raffles or contests.

Among all things, I am grateful for friends and family who are always there to back us up. I am facing this year positively with all the blessings I have in store for me and my family. I will be happy and I will enjoy every second of my life knowing that I have my family, my friends in my life and I can get through all of these hardships with a little help from these people around me. Thank you Lord. Amen. Positive vibes for 2011 and forward!
